Family Therapy
No two families are alike. Family counseling is counseling focused on family dynamics, immediate concerns, and the near future. Family counseling, which brings together the members of a family as a group, is similar to group counseling. An issue that affects a family, like disease, conflict, behavioral issues, addictions, financial stress, death or simply people not getting along, may all warrant family counseling. Family therapy may involve meeting with individual family members at first and then having some or all of the family present to work on specific goals and objectives to make the family unit more cohesive.
